Multi-award winning singer, Lady Zamar, has taken to social media to vent about how she feels regarding men who demand respect from women. She had quite a lot to say about men who think they are 'entitled' to respect.
Lady Zamar used Twitter to express her opinion on men and the way they act like they are 'entitled' to respect from women.
She went on to ask why women are labelled as crazy when they raise their voices and said people don't stop to wonder what pushes ladies to 'lose it'.
Briefly.co.za noticed that the singer used an example from her own life to get her point across - she feels really strongly about this particular issue, that's for sure.
Zamar wondered if men don't consider that women don't just out of the blue raise their voices.
"Do men (vast majority) really believe that a woman just randomly raises her voice for fun? Do men (vast majority) honestly believe women are in general CRAZY. Society is constantly tagging women as bitter. Do these men ever ask why? Why did she raise her voice?”
The singer also shifted some of the blame (all of it, really) onto men who disregard the women when they try to speak up:
"I often ask myself, wasn’t the disrespect from the man first when he decided to disregard her pleas and her position. He takes her for granted then, when she feels like maybe if I speak louder he’ll hear me, she then becomes the problem. WHEN DID WE BECOME LIKE THIS?"
Check out Zamar's full 'rant'; she really had a lot on her mind:
