A woman has taken to social media to beg her boyfriend to respond to her calls and messages. She called him out and asked that he treat her with the love she deserves.

Twitter user VelryHlatse must have been at her wits end when she took to the social network to demand that her boyfriend return her messages. It seems the unreliable bae has been online and doing everything but staying in touch with his girlfriend. According to the fed up woman, the man has been silent for the last four days.

She went on to call out his immature behaviour and demanded to be treated with respect.

Mzansi social media users had mixed reactions about her post. Some sympathised with her and comforted her. Others, however, thought that she was coming across as desperate. A few people suggested that she leave the relationship as the man was clearly no longer interested.

"I'm so sorry.Say he comes back, will you be okay with knowing that you are with a man that you had to go through such lengths for him to give you the most basic thing in any relationship? You are worth so much more than this. Maybe take time out to heal and take care of yourself"
