Bongani Zungu has had his fair share of frustrating injuries, but the midfielder has started the season like a house on fire.

Zungu was in great form during the African Cup of Nations for Bafana Bafana and it seems he’s carried it through to his club side, Amiens.

Although he hasn’t started, Zungu has featured prominently off the bench and scored an equaliser against Nantes.

Unfortunately, his strike wasn’t enough for the French side as they lost 2-1 in the end.

Zungu said, “I’m happy with how the season has started. It is always good to score and I’m hoping to maintain form.”

France is not proving to be a happy hunting ground for all South Africans as Lebo Mothiba is yet to open his account for Strasbourg.

Daily Sun reported that Keagan Dolly is getting game time as he played in his second match for Montpellier as they drew to Bordeaux.

Their Bafana teammate, Lebohang Phiri, has also played twice for his side, Guingamp, this season.

Briefly.co.za also believes that Percy Tau is excelling in Belgium and played the full 90 minutes when Club Brugge faced KAS Eupen.

One man who has departed from Europe is Thulani Serero as he was transferred from Vitesse Arnhem in Holland to join Jazira in the United Arab Emirates.
