- Former MEC Mxolisi Dukwana has thrown down the gauntlet and told Ace Magashule to meet him in court
- The former Free State economic development official wants the ANC secretary-general to act on his threats and take action against him
- This comes after Dukwana make numerous allegations at the state capture inquiry, implicating Magashule and 30 others
Mxolisi Dukwana has challenged Ace Magashule to put his money where his mouth is and take his threats to court.
Briefly.co.za reported yesterday that the former Free State economic development MEC had testified against Magashule at the state capture inquiry.
Dukwana claimed that the ANC secretary-general had opted to pursue a lawsuit over claims that he helped form the ATM party because he knew he would never lose a court case in the Free State, reports IOL.
The Zondo Commission heard evidence of how the judiciary in the province had allegedly been captured, with the wives of judicial heads doing business with the state.
Magashule - at least in Dukwana's opinion - had allegedly formed something of a cult in the Free State in the nearly 30 years he was in government there.
Dukwana's appearance before the Zondo Commission is set to be another whirlwind testimony, with over 30 individuals set to be implicated by his evidence, reports the Daily Maverick.
