- A Pastor was filmed disguising himself as a homeless person
- The aim of the disguise was to check how his congregation would react
- The video surfaced on Mzansi social media and South Africans were quick to voice their opinions
On Monday, Bi Phakathi - who is known for having a passion to help those less fortunate - shared a video of a pastor pretending to be homeless.
The footage shows the religious leader, disguised as a hobo, sitting in front of his church and filming his congregation's reaction.
Instead of reaching out to the 'homeless man', the church members are seen turning a blind eye and ignoring the pastor.
Briefly.co.za gathered the pastor then went into his church and took off the disguise before preaching to the stunned congregation.
Although it was not revealed where or when the video was filmed, it touched South Africans' hearts.
Beth Dreamsdo ComeTrue commented: "Very sad to watch this, I volunteer at a homeless shelter couple times a month here in the UK, I can't bear to see someone needing help, they always remember you no matter what. Love thy neighbour!"
Michele Turck added: "This moved me in a way I cannot put into words. May each person who watches this be moved by Gods Holy Spirit to do great things in his name! Amen."
Helen Lewis wrote: "That is so you, always willing to help others....may God continue to bless you PI...I do the same in my community."
Andrew Galloway said: "I'm not crying....you're crying! Really moving stuff, so good to see people living out their faith."
