Orlando Pirates may be down but are far from out, according to Steve Komphela.
The Golden Arrows coach has emphasised that his charges will be on high alert for their clash with the Bucs on Wednesday at Orlando Stadium.
Many have written the Pirates off following a slump in form, but Komphela feels this makes them just as dangerous.
Komphela said, “When they are down, that is when they are dangerous.”
The Daily Sun reported that Komphela is also wary of the Pirates’ style of play.
He said, “Pirates’ match is going to be difficult because they play a brand of football that is quick.”
Briefly.co.za noted that the Pirates have been winless in their last five encounters.
The Soweto Giants were rocked following the untimely resignation of former coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic, and interim coach, Rhulani Mokwena, has faced a baptism of fire.
Conversely, Arrows come off the back of a 2-1 victory over Chippa United over the weekend.
