Mzansi rapper, AKA took to social media to tell his fans that he’s working on a new album which promises it’s gonna be lit, in fact he dubbed it his best work yet.
AKA topped the Twitter trends earlier today, Wednesday, 28 August, after saying he was “locked’ with is latest music project, claiming it would surpass his previous album, Touch My Blood (TMB).
Supa Mega added that even though TMB reached double-platinum status, he said his new work has surprised him and features some if the best rappers in the industry.
“Of course I’m gonna get my OGs and favs on the album. But I wanna get Emtee, Nasty, Shane, Flame, Hash, Ason, Willy Cardiac, Reece, Babyface Dean, J Molly, etc. Sorry if I left out a few names as well.”
According to TshisaLive, Emtee said that next year, 2020, would be his comeback year and AKA had previously spoken out about wanting to work with him.
But despite AKA getting fans excited with his snippet news, he also said he had to hold back on some other exciting information regarding his music project.
“I wanna explain the sound to you but Sony is telling me I can’t drop any more snippets. Okay, fair enough.”
AKA also mentioned that two singles from his new album will be put in September and there will be a strong female contingent on his album too.

Meanwhile, four days ago, Briefly.co.za reported that rapper AKA showed off his mature side when he did a talk on urban culture at the DStv Seminar of Creativity, which is part of the Loeries Creative Week. He made history as the first recording artist to do so.
