Sjava is clearly fed up with people being loud on social media but not doing anything to speak of in real life. He shared his opinion on people who tweet all day but don't go out and take action - he's not a fan.
People who tweet about all the important social matters but don't actually go out to do anything about them are called keyboard activists and muso Sjava isn't impressed with them.
He recently took to social media (see the irony?) to express how he feels about these activists who are all tweet and no action.
The reason why our country izobola and be f*cked up it’s because our generation only tweets we don’t come together go out there and take action on ANYTHING!!!!!!
Many people will agree that being outspoken and 'woke' on social media without being the difference you want to see is pretty useless.
However, Briefly.co.za noticed that Sjava got questioned over whether himself is only tweeting or going out there and making things happen.
Last time your generation went out and took action during Fees Must Fall we didn’t see non of y’all public figures protesting with the students. Even now y’all quiet while some students are still languishing in prison.Lead from the front first and then talk.
Which brings to mind your song "Gijima" my brother that song is deep and most people didn't get the message.
Start and we shall follow you, what are you doing yourself?
Please mobilize as you have a greater outreach... We will be there
"Change start with you"... Go. I'll join
