On Thursday, a pilot, Sibusiso Nxumalo, took to social media to give Mzansi a glimpse into his exciting job.
Nxumalo, whose Twitter handle is @FlyingZulu, posted a snap of himself inside the cockpit - which he cheekily called his "office".
"The other day in the office on our way to Munich. #PilotDiaries #FlyingTheFlag" - he captioned the post.

The post got lots of attention and Mzansi was inspired by Nxumalo's job. Some of the comments were hilarious, with South Africans comparing the cockpit to a taxi.
Cyril Magashule, who goes by the Twitter handle @katlimen, commented: "Ola kaptein. You must post some more man. Don't be shy now."
