Sho Madjozi's hit track, John Cena, continues to be a favourite that dominates the social media streets, and she never expected such love.

TimesLIVE reports the Gqom muso said:

"I am excited that people are realising how organic my material is because there wasn't really much that I did. I just went to Colors and performed, the responses that came after that I did not expect."

Sho is also in awe that the wrestler himself gave her a shout-out.

"It's crazy that I got a shout-out from John Cena, who I used to watch on TV. Seeing that I was living in the village with my aunt, we didn't really have a TV at home. The only time we were able to watch TV was when we watched Generations and WWE."

The inspiration behind a track that is considered one of the hottest of the summer? Heartbreak, of all things.

"I believe that I make heartbreak gqom. I wrote that song about somebody who's trying to act like they don't see me like John Cena. People just took it to another level."

"I don't want to play hard to get any more. I want to be with someone who I feel for, genuinely."

We're sure there are many fans out there who would be more than happy to try and give Sho a fairytale romance.
