Nomvula Mokonyane has reacted to the allegations put forward by Angelo Agrizzi at the state capture inquiry. The former minister attended the memorial of the late BOSASA CEO Gavin Watson.
Former minister Nomvula Mokonyane has commented on the allegations put forwards against her today at Gavin Watson's memorial service.
Briefly.co.za reported that former BOSASA COO Angelo Agrizzi had accused Mokonyane of accepting lavish gifts and monthly bribes from the now infamous group.
Taking to the podium at the late CEO's memorial service, Mokonyane highlighted his resiliant faith, but had a word of warning for the whisleblower:
“Why did I frequent the Bosasa office? I would say these offices were friendly with the ANC. My story will not be told through [News24 editor] Adriaan Basson or newspapers. My time will come. I will tell you what Agrizzi has done."
Mokonyane went on to blast the media for breaking 'ubuntu', slamming reports of her 'chicken and whisky' relationship with the company, reports The Citizen.
News24 reports that Watson was lauded as a man of unshakable faith who taught his children to pray and did everything he could for people.
