Social media has been flooded with videos and photos of the harrowing situation in Gauteng.
Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported another video has surfaced on social media which showed locals looting a foreign-owned shop.
The situation in Jozi caused a massive reaction on social media and Mzansi wanted to know where Ramaphosa was while all hell breaks lose in city and its surrounding areas.
Twitter parody account Man's Not Barry Roux took to the social media platform to call Ramaphosa out for being missing in action.
"Where's the President? Are we led or maybe we are being towed in this country? #JoburgCBD #Tembisa #PretoriaCBD," the post was captioned.
Social media users were quick to give their two cents' worth on what Ramaphosa is doing while the province is in chaos.
Sandile_Mntwana, who goes by the Twitter handle @Sandile_Mntwan, commented: "I think we're not even being towed, we being dragged."
Another tweep, @VistaNob, added: "You mean the unidentified leader."
