- Siv is sickened by all the crime going on in Mzansi
- He took to social media to take a stand against it and called for a national shut-down
- The Mzansi comedian then called on Ramaphosa for answers
Local comedian and TV personality, Siv Ngesi, has reached his limit with crime in Mzansi. On Sunday, he called for a national shut-down in the stand against crime.
Siv has been a victim of crime himself. Just last year he was robbed in broad daylight and held at gunpoint in Johannesburg.
Briefly.co.za knows how strongly Siv feels about the high crime rate in SA. Unfortunately things are only getting worse by the day and the people of Mzansi now feel that they need to take matters into their own hands.
Taking to social media on Sunday, Siv expressed his concerns. The concerned celeb expressed that he is unsure what to think or how to feel about his beloved county, and called for a national shut-down.
Siv pushed the hashtag #SAShutDown on Monday, urging the people of Mzansi to take action. Prayer is unfortunately not enough, action needs to be taken.
Taking it to the next level, Siv publicly called President Cyril Ramaphosa out on social media. The lack of support against crime in this country is alarming.
