Pearl Thusi is on the receiving end of a lot of hate after she asked Mzansi to help locate her phone. People are lashing out against the TV personality and actress, complaining that she's tweeting about a phone when another woman, Uyinene Mrwetyana, was murdered.

Pearl Thusi took to social media to request some help in locating her phone - something that many people have done in the past.
However, Pearl is being attacked on the social media streets for tweeting about her phone while many others are out there expressing sorrow and anger at the death of Uyinene Mrwetyana and violence against women in general.

While people are slamming Pearl for her timing and say she's insensitive, Briefly.co.za noticed others are surprised that she's being blamed for having a life of her own.
Some tweeps are concerned that people are saying 'protect our women' but they viciously go after Pearl.
The celeb is even trending on Twitter, with South Africans divided between roasting and defending her.

Less than a day ago, TV personality Siv Ngesi joined the outcry with people wanting to end the violence against women and children in South Africa
Ngesi took to Twitter to call for a national shutdown in SA, to raise awareness and find a solution to the increasing number of missing person reports in the country.
