Boity Thulo, like many other celebs and people in Mzansi, took to social media in a plea against crime in our beloved country.

The crime rate in South Africa has reached new heights. Women and children are being raped, murdered, abused and abducted every minute. has seen so many celebs take to social media in a stand against crime. Being a woman herself, Boity feels especially strongly against crimes committed against women and children.

The recent murder of University of Cape Town (UCT) student, Uyinene Mrwetyana, was the tipping point for many.

Taking to social media with a heart full of rage and fright, Boity called out the South African Government. Your girl did not hold back.

Boity then went on to critique the ridiculous guidelines given to women by government to ‘protect’ themselves. The focus should be on the criminals, not the victims.
