Video shows taxi marshal holding pupil's hand during Joburg unrest

- A taxi marshal gave Mzansi a bit of hope during a troubling time

- The marshal, known simply as Ntshebe, held a pupil's hand as he walked him to safety during the unrest in Johannesburg CBD

South Africa is going through a dark time and one taxi marshal provided a bit of sunlight when he took the time to help a learner.

On Monday, a video surfaced on social media which shows a taxi marshal, Ntshebe, walking a school pupil to safety during the unrest in the Joburg CBD.

Briefly.co.za gathered the he video was posted on Twitter by a man who has been identified as Ntsako Shibambo.

He captioned the video:

"Amidst the unrest in #JoburgCBD I was touched to see that there are those who still are human at heart! One of the taxi marshals (known as Ntshebe) accompanying a school pupil to haven. While walking, there were a few others who were doing the same!"

The video inspired social media users who applauded Ntshebe in the comment section.

Mzantsi wethu, who goes by the Twitter handle @ZaBongs06, commented: "We still have Men in this country... He is my hero of the day."
