The police are struggling to get a grip on the violent situation in Johannesburg. However, a video of an unattended JMPD police van has Mzansi asking, 'What the hell?'

On Tuesday, The Citizen received a video which shows a JMPD van (missing a front tyre) left completely unattended near a group of looters.

A man can be heard describing the scene in the video and at one stage he points out the shotguns can be seen in the unattended JMPD van.

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Premier David Makhura says that the army might be called in as police battle to remain in control in Gauteng.
