- A woman took to social media to share how SA lost a leader in Zuma
- She claimed uBaba would have dissolved the situation in Mzansi
- According to her, the people were misled by whites into sacking Zuma
Briefly.co.za reported that President Cyril Ramaphosa has come under fire for remaining silent about the situation in South Africa this week.
And, even though he finally released a statement, some felt that he is failing as the president of South Africa and his predecessor, Jacob Zuma, would have done better.
A woman, who has been identified as Rose Mphahlele, took to Twitter on Monday to share that she believed Zuma would have controlled the situation already.
"We lost a leader in Jacob Zuma. He was Father of the Nation. By now he would have been on the city streets covered with smoke and fire consoling the situation, offering consoling words of healing. We listened to whites when they fooled us via newspapers and ENCA," she captioned her post.
Many South Africans immediately disagreed with her tweet, dubbing Zuma a "rapist" and slamming his leadership skills.
Twitter user, @BantuZen, wrote: "We really are in desperate times. We are even nostalgic for the leadership of a rapist because we cannot do any better than that."
Evah Makoto, who goes by the Twitter handle @EvahM, commented: "Jacob jacob? The whole Jacob Zuma? The same one I know? Like ora Jacob? Aowa ausi when did he take the lead?"
