- Mamelodi Sundowns have registered 6 more players as the transfer window closed on Monday
- Jeremy Brockie moved to Maritzburg United, while George Lebese and Sibusiso Khumalo have been released
- Aubrey Ngoma, Lucky Mohomi and Jose Ali Meza are among those that have been recalled to the squad
Football fans watched in anticipation as the transfer window closed on Monday.
Briefly.co.za previously reported on some of the players that Mamelodi Sundowns were linked with, including Khama Billiat.
None of those big moves materialised, but the club has registered six more players as the window closed.
Jeremy Brockie secured a late loan move to Maritzburg United, but Soccer Laduma reported that Sibusiso Khumalo has been released.
Briefly.co.za also gathered that George Lebese was deemed to be surplus to requirements as he is now a free agent.
Conversely, Lucky Mohomi, Jose Ali Meza and Aubrey Ngoma find their way back into the reckoning – although an erroneous club statement contradicted this.
Harold Majadibodu, Abram Ngcobo and Nicholus Lukhubeni will also be in the mix and try to make a play for the Brazilians starting lineup.
Ngcobo could feature in coach Pitso Mosimane’s plans as the club rejected a loan move proposed by Cape Town City.
