More and more celebs are speaking up about the xenophobic behaviour of South Africans and one thing they all feel is that it's not right. Masechaba Ndlovu shared the words of an African proverb that touched Boity Thulo's heart.

The xenophobic behaviour of South Africans is leaving their fellow countrymen and women feeling ashamed.

Clearly, the hatred that is felt for foreigners is not a unanimous feeling and more people are speaking out against it.

Local celebs such as Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C are calling for the attacks to stop and actress Manaka Ranaka admitted she's ashamed to be South African right now.

A post that was shared by Masechaba Ndlovu on Twitter about the situation touched Boity Thulo and she reacted with broken heart emojis.

Mashechaba quoted an African proverb about brothers who fight and it resonated with Boity.

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za reported that other African nations are witnessing the fallout of the xenophobia and locally-owned interests are being targeted in Nigeria where multiple Shoprite stores are facing retaliation.

Numerous African countries have also refused to attend the World Economic Forum’s African leg in Cape Town in response to the situation.
