A man took to Facebook to detail one of the most drawn out marriage proposals, but social media users are loving it.

Edi Okoro explained that he purchased the engagement ring, but waited for the right time to propose to his girlfriend, Cally.

Okoro just couldn’t find the right moment and the situation went on for more than a month.

He decided to embrace the feelings of angst and captured a series of moments on camera.

The snaps revealed many occasions where Okoro had the ring on standby, while Cally was oblivious to the situation.

Briefly.co.za noted that the post sparked an overwhelming reaction as it was liked more than 88 000 times.
