- BI Phakathi has shared a sweet video
- It showed a man requesting a Bible from him
- Social media users were moved by the post
BI Phakathi has shared a heart wrenching video of a man who asked for a Bible instead of food. The man, who appeared to have a mental disorder, asked the philanthropist for a Zulu Bible.
Phakathi was on the streets again recently to bring joy and hope to others. He posted a video captioned:
"He wanted a bible instead of food, this will make you cry"
In the footage, he encountered a man named Sakhile. The man's backstory was not clear as he did not seem to be well. An empathetic Phakathi listened to him relay his problems before offering him some money.
The grateful man took the money before attempting to write the serial numbers of each note on the sand. This further describes his poor mental state. He was able to stop the act long enough to ask Phakathi for a Zulu Bible.
Social media users were moved by the man's circumstances and Phakathi's kindness. Facebook user Zamo Silimandlela-Mbanga said:
"You are truly an Angel in this horrible world, but now I have hope because of you.I'm in tears and I pray that God keeps you and your loved ones safe at all times"
While Rutendo Marufu said:
"So touching hey. I'm happy because he is preaching about God. I hope God will hear his prayers one day. Thank you brother for helping this man"
Gerry Bolmatis said:
"Wow! I am deeply touched by your heart . Thank you for Blessing so many different people in your daily life"
Briefly.co.za previously reported that BI Phakathi blessed a homeless man. The man, who identified himself as Jason, hands out small Bibles in return for a donation, but he was left emotional after meeting Phakathi. Phakathi gave Jason a blanket, cold drink and bread before giving him money - despite the homeless man revealing he had to overcome several challenges that planted 'bad seeds' in his life.
