An ACDP party member has stood up in parliament to make a speech that has been dubbed as the "speech SA needs to hear". The woman slammed all politicians in the chamber over their response to the Gender Based Violence currently plaguing the country.
Honorable member Marie Suker took to the podium and was ready to spit fire. She called for the nation to come together in prayer - this statement caused heckling in the room. She responded by disciplining the hecklers and explaining that now was not the time for division. She said that the nation of South Africa is terrified and it was all on them to make it right.
Many parliament members applauded her heartfelt speech. Social media users were also left emotional. Facebook user Tanya Chappen said:
"Only a Godly woman with a pure heart can make everyone listen to this speech with our hearts and not with our ears. You deserve to be our Leader"
