Amy-Lee de Jager has been returned home, mercifully unharmed by those who kidnapped her, but the saga around the incident continues.
Briefly.co.za reported that four men in a Fortuner had snatched the 6-year-old from outside her school early on Monday morning.
Now, the SAPS has confirmed that two women (27 and 40 years-old) had been arrested along with a 50-year-old man for their alleged involvement in the matter.
Investigations into the matter had resulted in the suspects being apprehended, with one of the woman nabbed allegedly known by Amy-Lee's parents.
The suspects are set to remain in police custody and are due to appear in court by the end of this week.
Brigadier Vishnu Naidoo applauded the swift arrests in the matter, but revealed that more arrests may still be on the cards.
