1. Early life
Kearyn Byron Baccus was born on 5 September 1991 in Durban.
2. Dual citizenship
Although Baccus was born in South Africa, he spent a large part of his life in Australia. According to Wikipedia, he is an Australian-South African citizen.
3. Football runs in the family
Baccus' younger brother, Keanu, is also a talented football player. The 21-year-old Baccus brother currently plays for the Western Sydney Wanderers.
4. Kick starting his football career in Australia
Baccus started his football career in 2008, when he joined the Sydney FC's youth set-up. Two years later, Baccus joined French side Le Mans' youth set-up.
5. Joining Amakhosi
Earlier this year, on 5 July, Baccus landed a three-year deal with South African football giant Kaizer Chiefs.
