On Thursday, Bafana Bafana revealed that Madagascar has also cancelled their friendly match, which was scheduled for Saturday, 7 September.
"Breaking News: SAFA regrets to inform the public that the match between Bafana Bafana and Madagascar scheduled for this coming Saturday (7 September) has been called off after the visitors (Madagascar) decided to withdraw from the encounter," the post read.
It is the second cancelled match for Bafana Bafana this week. Briefly.co.za reported previously that Zambia pulled out of the friendly match against the South African side, citing security concerns as grounds for the decision.
Bafana Bafana fans were torn by the news and they took to the comment section to give their two cents' worth on the news.
Other Africans also weighed in on another team dropping Bafana.
