A video showing a group of talented young children is proving to be very popular on Twitter.
The kids can be seen singing an opera song in perfect harmony while travelling in a minibus.
The short video was shared by Peace Maphalu (@uPeace) on Thursday and has been viewed more than 70 000 times.
Briefly.co.za gathered the learners to be from Mbalenhle primary school in Newcastle.
Tweeps were blown away by the impressive voices on display and many lauded them for their talent.
There were some who refused to believe the youngsters were capable of such a flawless rendition.
Briefly.co.za also noted the concerns raised by some viewers as they indicated that the taxi was overloaded.
Boo’d_Up (@monde_dube) commented, “And they don’t look strained at all...the little man sitting between the girls in front. Ngathi he’s used to this so it’s whatever.”
Felicia Mabuza-Suttle (@Feliciamabuza) said, “The soprano from the girl to your right is calling me. Alto (or as we used to say, 2nd part), I'm not hearing you. Is base missing? Feel like the conductor here. Amazing voices. Would love to see them in action.”
Olebogeng (@Olebogeng) added, “Hee.e e these voices aren't coming from these lovely children. Yoh.”
Plug & Play (@Budaperza) responded, “Their singing is good but that vehicle is overloaded.”
Semau wa thembo (@Semauth2) added, “I'm choosing to be a party pooper on this one. As glorious as their singing is, lets talk about it later. My concern is how many children are in this taxi. By my observation, this may be a toyota quantum, a 15 seater, and I'm counting more than that, including the one standing.”
