Just as South Africans thought all the bad news for the week is behind them, a video surfaces that has us saddened us yet again with the behaviour of Mzansi men.

Local singer, Busiswa Gqulu, and a friend, the rapper Marc, real name Themba Kubheka, has been attacked by a violent ex of hers. The video shows the aftermath of the attack - Busiswa's friend bruised and his car's windows destroyed.

The man, identified as DJ Katlego “Kaygee” Mlangeni, and a friend, apparently arrived at Busiswa's place and attacked her and Marc.

Marc shared the video, and a series of tweets in which he details the attack, in the hopes that it will go viral and their attackers will be exposed.

Meanwhile, The Citizen reports that DJ Kaygee has spoken up, explaining his side of the story.

In a Facebook post that has since been deleted, Kaygee shared a Facebook post (which has since been deleted) in which he denied assaulting Busiswa, but claimed he had caught her sleeping with Marc, and this prompted his attack.

"I go in the house and it was unlocked and seems like they decided to do a quickie. So, I entered the bedroom and I caught them having sex on the same bed I sleep on every day."
