- Following the news of xenophobia and femicide in Mzansi, many celebs have spoke out against the violence, especially women and children abuse
- Lootlove was one of the celebs who sent out love to all the women who came forward with stories of rape and abuse
- She also questioned when this would all end
After a long week of horror stories that have plagued Mzansi’s social media, from femicide, rape, murder and xenophobia, people have had enough.
The death of UCT student, Uyinene Mrwetyana sparked many battered and hurt women to come forward and stand up against abuse. Women took to social media to reveal their rape and physical abuse stories which have left female celebs, including TV personality, Lootlove, feeling helpless, disappointed and shook.
Lootlove took to Twitter to express how grateful she was for the #AmINext movement, which she believes helped “wake up women" to the fact that they were being violated but were to afraid to admit it.
“I’ve seen so many tweets from women who had no idea they were violated and realised through info on the TL. To those sharing knowledge about consent, and everything regarding sexual violation, thank you. What we learn from your pain (and I am sorry for that) we can teach to our kids.”
Lootlove also played a part in encouraging women through this difficult time in our country. She used her powerful voice to persuade women to tell their stories through the question, “How many times has it happened to you?”
The media personality’s conversation saw women finding healing in each other as they shared their responses on social media.
Another note that Lootlove had made was the several tips given to women to keep them safe but asked when this would all end.
Just over three weeks ago, Briefly.co.za reported that LootLove finally revealed the faces of her two tiny princesses to the world.
Lootlove and Reason welcomed their precious pair earlier this year and the two could not be more proud to be parents. Briefly.co.za knows how LootLove and Reason have been teasing their followers with only slight and sneaky glimpses of their offspring, and even those snaps struck the feels. So, you can just imagine what the full-frontal cuteness has done!
The proud momma has finally showed off her undeniably precious little bundles of podginess. Zanothando and Sisizwe have enough combined cuteness to end a world war.
