King Monada is all about unearthing and honing local talent - the muso has opened a recording studio in his home province that will make aspiring rural artists' dreams come true.
Khutso Steven Kgatla, better known as King Monada, comes from a rural village and has made his own dreams come true and now he wants to do the same for aspiring musicians from Limpopo.
He has plans to turn Tzaneen into a Johannesburg where dreams are made, reports The Citizen.
Monada was born and raised in Ga-Lekhotho in Bolobedu, outside Tzaneen, and is using the money from his gigs to create a studio that will polish local talent and prepare them for the stage.
Briefly.co.za gathered that the new studio was built in the same yard as the singer's mansion in Mokgoloboto Village, not far from Tzaneen.
"This is where dreams are and will be made."
Monada has worked hard to get to where he is and says it's always been a dream of his to help local musos in the difficult music industry.
"It has always been my dream to help local artists to make it in the dog-eat-dog music industry. I knew there has always been an avalanche of talent in Limpopo waiting to be explored and nourished."
We can't wait to see what Monada and the talents he discovers cook up for Mzansi!
