Mzansi gospel singer, Hlengiwe Mhlaba, has been discharged from hospital following her a serious car crash on Saturday afternoon in Melmoth, northern Zululand.

It is believed that the singer lost control of her vehicle while travelling to a show in Mpumalanga.

Thankfully Mhlaba did not suffer any serious injuries after she crashed her Mercedes-Benz GL 320 CDI. She is now out of hospital and recovering at home. But will not take any calls.

According to TshisaLive, Mhlaba’s talent agent, Thobile Mchunu, said the accident happened when the singer tried to avoid an oncoming vehicle that was driving towards her.

“It is a miracle she came out of the accident fine. She is at home resting after being discharged yesterday afternoon,” said Mchunu.
“She wants to thank fans for showing love and support for her at this time. She appreciates their prayers.”

Mhlaba believes that prayer was the only thing that protected her, and the grace of God was the reason she survived the accident.

Unfortunately, this was the third car crash that the gospel singer has been involved in since the beginning of the year.
