Rowlene recently made it clear that she ain’t about to make music just to please the public. The songstress is tired of standing in the shadows of other artists.

Having built her career on a solid foundation, working closely with the super talented Nasty C, Rowlene is ready to shine on her own.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Rowlene’s new single, Curtain Call, is the song that will spark her solo glory. Rowlene performed it for the first time at a lit event in Johannesburg and the crowd was blown away.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Rowlene expressed how her time of standing in Nasty C and Tellaman’s shadows is over. She wants people to know her as an artist and for her voice to be heard.

Rowlene’s upcoming album will show the world that she is capable and worthy as a solo artist. The album is set to drop in January 2020 and she cannot wait for everyone to hear it.

Embarking on a new and powerful journey, Rowlene is focusing on her first musical love - RnB. Rowlene is being ‘unapologetic’ with her music so that the world can get to know who she truly is.
