Bonang Matheba has asked her social media followers and fans to vote for her as she competes in the African influencer category at E!'s People's Choice Awards. However, people are (resentfully) saying they can't vote for her because she blocked them on Twitter.
She recently took to social media to call on her admirers and followers to go vote for her, and many people quickly responded with messages like "I voted for you!" or "Done, Queen B!".
However, Briefly.co.za noticed that many others had come forward to say they just couldn't vote for Bonang because she blocked them on Twitter.
People were really out there catching feelings after being blocked and their resentment is almost tangible.
It became such a 'thing' that #BonangMatheba even trended. Mzansi has zero chill these days.
Check out these comments, people really took it personally when SA's Queen B decided she wasn't in the mood for them.
One tweep pointed out that people are being dramatic - Bonang wouldn't block people just for the sake of it, they had to have done something to upset her.
That's a valid point, to be honest.
