Skeem Saam actor, Clement Maosa, popped the question to his girlfriend, Kemo, under a year ago and now they are both expecting their first child.

The actor, who plays Kwaito on the SABC soapie, shared the exciting news with his followers on Instagram on Wednesday.

Maosa shared a snap of the two lovebirds holding hands, with his fiancée’s baby bump in full view.

He wrote: “Dala ngi Lindile, Yes I do, Ngiyavuma I… (If be fruitful and multiply was a person).”

He revealed how happy he was in the last snap that he shared, with a simple one-word caption, "Contentment!"

Many celebs shared congratulatory messages to the couple, including Ntando Duma, Thando Thabethe and Norma Gigaba, to name a few.

Maosa popped the question during an intimate birthday dinner celebration in May last year. It was really special, as the actor got down on one knee and asked Kemo to be his wife.

The actor has been gushing over his fiancé ever since, including on her birthday.

Meanwhile, a month ago, Briefly.co.za reported that South African actor, Clement Maosa, known for his work in popular TV show, Skeem Saam, shared an amazing achievement with Mzansi recently.

The local celeb summited Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, on a climb organised by the Nelson Mandela Foundation, the Sowetan LIVE reported.
