Thuli Madonsela has received yet another honorary doctorate, this time from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
On Thursday, the University of KZN awarded the former public protector a doctorate in law.
Taking to Twitter, the University shared photos of the special moment and captioned it:
"Renowned Human Rights Lawyer and former Public Protector of South Africa, Professor Thulisile 'Thuli' Madonsela has received an Honorary Doctorate from UKZN."
The university added: "Madonsela is recognised for her tireless dedication to the Constitution and her outstanding contribution to the betterment of South African society."
Taking to her Twitter account, Madonsela said she felt honoured by the university's gesture.
"Supremely #honoured @UKZN and #grateful to the team and people that did and do the world-changing work with me #ukznSpringGrad2019."
It is not the first time Madonsela was lauded with an honorary degree. Briefly.co.za previously reported that Madonsela received an honorary doctorate from North-West University.
