Briefly.co.za earlier reported that Chippa United decided to part ways with coach Clinton Larsen following the 2-1 defeat to Orlando Pirates.
Chilli Boys owner Siviwe Mpengesi confirmed the news on Monday and many football followers weren't surprised.
Chippa have struggled so far this season as they failed to secure a win in their first five encounters.

Speaking to Phakaaathi, Larsen confirmed the news and felt the decision was not necessarily due to the weekend's performance, but as a consequence of the overall results this season.
Based on the reaction via Twitter, it seems many have grown tired of the coaching merry-go-round taking place at Chippa.

Sinolwetu Tompela (@sinolwetu) commented, "Chippa United, can someone adopt me? I can't carry on with this team."
Ayakhanya Khoselihle (@Tobisani1) said, "Can this Chippa United be relegated this season please, am tired of this Mpengesi."
Sinethemba Mbatha (@SnezzyMbatha) responded, "When Chippa United fires a coach it shouldn't be "Breaking News" anymore. It's should be something like, 'Usual News'.... Or 'Expected News'."
Mthobisi Mkhize (@Mthobysy) added, "Coaches must stand together and nobody must take this Chippa coaching job. Let us see if Mpengesi can coach."
