A couple's engagement video has gone viral on social media but what was supposed to be a magical moment became the subject of scrutiny. Many social media users were critical about how the proposal was done.

Twitter user VanBanter took to social media to share his happy moment in a video that now has over 1.7 million views. Unfortunately, the reaction was not what he anticipated. Social media users picked at everything from his girlfriend's eyelashes to the fact that he recorded the whole incident instead of opening the box for her.
