It looks like it’s the season of baby announcements on the popular TV soapie, Skeem Saam. A week ago, Briefly.co.za reported that actor Clement Maosa and his fiancée, Neo Ramitshana, are expecting their first child.

Now, another Skeem Saam actress, Makgofe Moagi, has announced that she’s pregnant and her baby girl or boy will be making its grand entry into the world soon.

The actress ended all speculation when she announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post last week. She finally shared a snap of her baby bump and this caption: “Rendered speechless... It is done... The best blessings, when Jesus says “yes” nobody can say “no”… I’m full with love!

According to ZALebs, a few weeks prior to her big pregnancy announcement, Makgofe took to Instagram again to shed some light on the pressure women face when they do not have children by a certain age.

She shared an image which showed a woman who looked distraught after taking several pregnancy tests and is reminded of all the comments and questions from society and family who pressurised her to have a baby “before it’s too late”.

Meanwhile, two months ago, Briefly.co.za reported that women all over the world have the fear of feeling a lump in their breast. Makgofe Moagi, the Skeem Saam actress, endured the same fear when she detected a lump in her breast.

It took Makgofe three years before she plucked up the courage to have it checked out. Fortunately it was not cancerous.

Taking to Instagram, Makgofe, who plays the character of Katlego’s mother Charity, shared her experience, which was a difficult time for her.
