Zahara shares snaps of the late Mandelas: "How I wish they were alive"

- Zahara took to social media to share a symbol of hope, in the form of pictures of the late Nelson Mandela and his ex wife, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela

- She was probably reminiscing about how they led South Africa out of apartheid and into becoming a rainbow nation

- Zahara wishes that the two great leaders of the country was still alive, to address the hardships that our country is faced with presently

Amidst all the media hype about xenophobia attacks, escalating crime, gender-based violence, femicide and violence against women and children in our country, there is still a little hope. Four days ago, learnt of the #SandtonShutdown, where businesses were stopped from continuing their work.

Mzansi' award-winning singer, Zahara, took to Instagram to show her fans the symbol of hope who once brought our rainbow nation together, away from the grasp of the apartheid era and into a democratic nation.

Zahara shared snaps of the late former SA president, Nelson Mandela and his ex wife, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela. She wrote: "At time like this, how I wish they were alive, Bazali bam niyakhumbuleka"

Zahara's Instagram post gathered 1695 likes and only 12 comments, not as much as we think it should have. But it didlend itself to the notion of what our country would have been like if they both were still alive.

For those who did comment, they mentioned what a power couple Nelson and Winnie was and how beautiful Mam' Winnie was in her young age.

The former two leaders really shone a light on this country and uplifted people to be better human beings.

Meanwhile, about three weeks ago, reported that Zahara has been informed by a prophet that it is her calling to be one too in 2020. However, the singer finds it a bit strange and wonders why the prophet would use the media to convey the message to her.

The Daily Sun reported on 23 August that prophet Dipuo Mokgatho had a dream about multi-award winning singer, Zahara.

According to this dream, Zahara is meant to follow a road as a prophet, and become one in 2020.
