A picture that has been shared on social media has left Mzansi giggling in disbelief. It shows pieces of sugar cane being sold at a popular grocery store for R7,99.

Twitter user MaskandiTwiter shared the picture with the caption:

"HHAWU!!!"

It received over 300 likes on social media and left many scratching their heads in disbelief. Twitter user Malusi said that they can get sugar cane for free in Empangeni by just picking it up from the floor. While CharlotteKhuma3 said:

"Imagine buying sugar cane"
