The Springboks are set for the first Rugby World Cup match against New Zealand on Saturday and people across the globe have shown the SA side some love.
On Friday, the Rugby World Cup officially kicked off, with Japan beating Russia 30 - 10. South Africans are now anxiously awaiting the first match for the Springboks.
The Boks took to Twitter to post a photo of the squad, adding that they look forward to taking on the mighty All Blacks.
South Africans flooded Twitter with posts in support of the boys in green under #RWC2019.
The South African government wrote online: "We urge all to rally behind and support our national rugby team @Springboks as they face the All Blacks at Yokohama’s International Stadium on Saturday. The Boks are carrying the hopes and aspirations of all South Africans. #StrongerTogether #RWC2019 #RWCYokohama."
The Boks even got a shoutout from legendary NFL player Tom Brady.
In another video, tennis superstar Novak Djokovic showed some love for the Boks and won over Mzansi.
