- An adorable video has surfaced on social media
- The footage shows a little girl negotiating with her mom
- South Africans were quick to dub her Mzansi's own 'Listen Linda'
Bianca Zwart took to Facebook to share a video of her adorable little girl, Mia. The video shows Mia repeatedly telling her mom to "listen to me" as she tries to explain why she should be allowed to take home her dirty toys.
Zwart captioned the video:
"Linda Linda in Afrikaans... Just three fingers old and she's already pressed her stamp off!"
In another post, Zwart defended her little girl against trolls who said she was being disrespectful towards her mother.
"Hi everyone, I am Mia's mommy. I just want to correct something. I see there's a lot who has something to say about the way Mia 'apparently' speaks to me. I think y'all are misinterpreting it."
"I posted the video on my personal Facebook page to show that she has a strong personality and good negotiation skills even though she's just three-years-old."
Zwart went on to explain they were parents who disciplined their child. She then shut down those who said Mia would grow up to be a disrespectful teenager.
Apart from the few trolls, South Africans found the footage hilarious and the little girl witty. The video gathered over 286 000 views in just a month's time.
