There are some images that we see and the words "only in Africa" immediately come to mind.

A recent hilarious video sparked this very reaction as it shows a man walking down the street with a strange contraption mounted to his back.

The device seems to be a large ceiling fan that continuously spins as the man takes his strides.

South Africa Live shared the interesting video on Friday and social media users immediately saw the funny side.

Briefly.co.za noticed that many of the viewers commended the man on finding an innovative solution to the blazing African sun.

However, others believed that the man was preparing to take-off and fly.
