According to ZAlebs, a few years ago, the them minister of sports and recreation, Fikile Mbalula, spoke about securing a booking for the much-loved Grammy award-winning singer, Beyonce Knowles-Carter for their sports awards.
However, his plans didn’t pan out after many believed that bringing Beyonce to Mzansi would overshadow the purpose of the event. Also, it was reported that the singer charges a whopping R17m per hour.
Unfortunately, the above factors led to the cancellation of Beyonce’s booking for the sports awards. And members called for the minister to book local talent instead, which he did.
Last year, Mzansi embraced Beyonce and her equally talented and influential hubby, Jay-Z when they graced our shores to perform at the South African instalment of The Global Citizens, philanthropic music festival, in honour of the late Nelson Mandela, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday.
Well, according to Mampintsha, Mzansi music fans could get another opportunity to see the Beyonce and Jay-Z, if everything goes well with his plans.
Here are a few comments from Mampintsha’s post:

Meanwhile, four days ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Babes Wodumo left social media users in disbelief when she announced on Twitter that she has left her 'abusive' relationship and is free of 'that controlling monster'. People are not sure what to believe - she's been hacked so many times now.
Babes Wodumo made an unexpected announcement on her Twitter account: she has dumped her on-off bae, Mampintsha. After all the drama between the two, it's likely that no one would blame her for breaking up with the man. That is, if she really did.
Babes is notoriously known for getting hacked every other day and the 'hackers' usually say things she claims she'd never utter. Is this just another case of 'I got hacked' that the Gqom singer will dismiss in a day or two, or is it a PR stunt?
Peeps don't know what to think, and few actually believe the tweet is legit.
