South Africa is going through a dark time in which no one really feels safe. Xenophobia, the stress about loadshedding and violent crime are just a few of the problems South Africans face every day.

It's no wonder so many are hoping to get out and start a new life somewhere else.

And yet, there are so many things about Mzansi that warms our hearts and makes us proud to be South Africans.

#ImStaying is a Facebook page dedicated to sharing all that is good and beautiful about SA and its followers are becoming more with each passing day.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the page describes itself as "dedicated to the South African women and men of all races and all religions, who remain loyal to South Africa".

News24 reports that the page has gained more than 50 000 members within two weeks - clearly there are many people with hope for their country of birth.

"This group is to honour all those who still believe that we as a nation can turn things around. To all those who choose to stay and work together to save this beautiful country we call home! This group belongs to all willing to make a positive difference!"

On the page, you can find many stories from Saffas that are not only heartwarming but also raises hope for a better future.

With so much bad news out there every day, #ImStaying is a welcome breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work, guys!
