Some crazy stories have surfaced on social media and while a handful are true, some are blatant lies.
For that reason, Briefly.co.za decided to investigate social media posts claiming Mugabe's family splashed 17 billion - not revealing in which currency - on his coffin.
According to the posts, Uncle Bob's expensive coffin is computerised with a camera inside so that his family can watch him even after he has been buried.
The story seemed far-fetched and we dug a bit deeper to determine the truth. We gathered that there were no verified Zimbabwean publications, nor any other news sites, that could confirm the bizarre claims. We then turned to social media and were convinced that the story was in fact fake.
Mzansi actor and businessman, Samson Ramabulana, was laid to rest on Saturday, 21 September.
The Muvhango actor, who played the part of Nenzhelele in the SABC 2 soapie, died on Monday, 16 September at a Netcare hospital in Polokwane, Limpopo.
According to the Daily Sun, the actor’s son, Lusani Ramabulana, confirmed that his father had succumbed to injuries he had suffered from a car accident last year.
Pinky Girl just got a free brand-new BMW from her blesser, Bonang Matheba, and the people of Mzansi can’t even.
Pinky Girl is one of Queen B’s besties/cousin and it is thanks to her major role in B’s reality TV show, Being Bonang, that she is ‘famous’.
On the latest episode of Being Bonang, B was seen shopping around for a new whip for Pinky Girl. She wants her cousin to have a nice, reliable and slightly boujee ride. She ended up going with a stunning top-of-the-range convertible BMW!
Mzansi has talent and one young boy proved it. Unathi took to her Instagram account to post a video of a little boy dancing his heart out at school.
"Sassafrika you are LOVE. #Mood #VibesnStuff," she captioned the post.
Social media users loved the video and they applauded the young man in the comment section.
Viggy and Virginia have been fan favourites since they first blew the Idols SA audience and judges away with their singing talents.
Since then, they have impressed again and again, and their admirers are confident they'll win the singing competition this year. They have received a lot of love from Mzansi.
Sadly, the girls have also been on the receiving end of negativity. TimesLIVE reports that the twins have responded to people calling them ugly, and they're not really bothered by it.
During an interview with Drum magazine, the ladies said they have to cope with it being said they are too ugly for Idols. Virginia feels that looks have nothing to do with winning the competition, and VIggy agrees.
"I've never seen a talented person not make it to Idols because they were called ugly. Talent counts - beauty can be bought."
The two have been raised with enough love to share with people who are unhappy, Virginia said.
