Herman Mashaba is adamant South Africans have nothing to apologise for and the Joburg mayor's post has gone viral as citizens showed him some love.

Briefly.co.za reported earlier that President Cyril Ramaphosa had sent out special diplomatic envoys in an attempt to do damage control after attacks on foreign nationals in SA.

Mashaba, on the other hand, felt that the endeavour was misplaced, insisting that criminal elements brought into the country were to blame for the unrest.
