- Idols SA fans tore into Somizi Mhlongo, entertainer and judge on the competition, after his criticism of Viggy Qwabe
- The upset peeps basically said they don't give two cents what Somizi thinks and will keep voting for her
- Briefly's readers, however, defended the entertainer against all the negative vibes and insults thrown his way
Somizi upset a lot of people when he got harsh in his criticism of Viggy Qwabe, one of Mzansi's favourite Idols SA contestants.
Viggy and her twin sister, Virginia, have been two of the country's most-supported singers in the competition since the very beginning.
When Somizi said he wasn't 'feeling' Viggy latest performance, fans were not 'feeling' him.
However, Briefly.co.za's readers were quick to defend the judge and entertainer, saying it's his job to point out what the contestants did wrong.

I don't see what Somizi did wrong. This is actually one of the reasons I love Randal, honesty is key... emotions aside n call a spade a spade. Mzansi must just chill n continue voting if they believe in Viggy.
People need to accept that Somizi is not put on idols to lie, he has lots of experience in the music field and choreography, so all these people that are saying Somizi said something wrong, why not apply to be a judge on the idols show.
All Idols contestants go through judge's advise what's so special about them that Somizi must not comment on what he thinks about their performance
No man people are putting emotions to this guys ai ngeke so what should Somizi so, is he supposed to lie n say u did well? Somizi is giving criticism to build them in the next performance it wasn't only her, he also criticized Micayla

Constructive criticism.... let's not make it that bad....yes they good at some point they needed that to be more stronger....that's life...they've been so many in that show...they got criticized too haibo
Somizi is an honest criticizer his not a singer he is a choreographer, entertainment and fashion that's his part he's talented his natural and honest judge
Some of our readers even agreed on something else - that the Qwabe twins are overrated and shouldn't have gottenthis far in the competition.
Whether that's true or not, positive critique will only help the sisters grow and become even better singers who can continue to entertain their fans.
