Ex garden worker's emotional reunion with 1st boss touches SA's hearts

Mlungisi Zondi took to social media to open up on the special bond he shares with the man who gave him his first job as a "garden boy".

The two men recently connected 14 years later and both were brought to tears.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the elderly man was so surprised by Zondi's visit that he became emotional.

Zondi revealed that he was also brought to tears as he learnt that his former employer was involved in a car accident and had lost the ability to walk.

As a show of appreciation for the man, Zondi pledged to assist him in any way possible.

Their story was shared via Facebook by Zondi and various groups and has gone viral.

Abethu Fundani commented, "I am touched and because of you I will look back and surprised some one too. UBUNTU SPIRIT .. Life is a journey."
Sphelele Ntsele added, "Wow I'm touched may God bless you and please take very good care of him you can tell by the look of his eyes that he trust and love you."
Barry Ngwenya said, "I have tears in my eyes as if I know u guys whereas I don't, you're doing a terrific word, don't forget where you're from."
Fikile Mnguni added, "They said treat someone with the respect bcs u don't know the future. What you doing God will bless you and I'm happy that he treated you well in your needy days not knowing that one day he will reap his kindness."
