Police Commissioner General Khehla Sitole has become a crime statistic himself after TVs were nabbed from his home over the weekend.
TimesLIVE reports that Brigadier Vishnu Naidoo had confirmed two televisions sets had been stolen, saying that:
"The national commissioner's house is currently under construction and therefore we are exploring certain possibilities. We believe that this was purely opportunistic. It was not a robbery or a break-in."
IOL reports that, with construction underway, the thieves had seized the opportunity to steal from the premises, with no injuries reported after the incident.
Briefly.co.za gathered that citizens were unimpressed, although amused, at the embarrassing situation for Sitole.
